Marking the first official partnership between House de Stains and Formawerx, the HF-11 Tamper is our 1:1 physical translation of the Oilstainlab hypercar’s manual shifter for the world of coffee. It wasn’t built for pure utility; it was built for the tactile thrill of wrapping your hand around cold metal and warm wood in the quiet hours of the morning. It is a beautifully irrational piece of automotive art, designed to make the simple act of waking up feel absolutely electric.

THE TACTILE EXPERIENCE

It looks and feels like nothing else in the espresso world. A trinity of raw materials, balanced to drop into your palm with a satisfying, undeniable gravity.

  • The Grip (Wood): Organic warmth, shaped to press into the hand with the familiar intimacy of a vintage shifter—channeling the analog soul of classic Alfas and Porsches.

  • The Frame (CNC Aluminum): Aerospace-grade aluminum featuring a grey anodized finish. Cold to the touch and flawlessly machined.

  • The Anchor (Stainless Steel): A heavy structural, high-polish stainless steel base, precision-machined to an industry-standard 58mm. Heavy enough to do the work for you, beautiful enough to command attention on display.

  • The Mass: 0.850 lbs of pure presence in the hand. When resting in its dock, the unit commands a total weight of 1.25 lbs.
